Dear All,
Adsense is some kind of addiction.
It takes away lot of time and a fear that the account gets GONE in no time worries us.
The amounts coming are not high either.
In Parallel if the programmer works to find someother job, he gets better pays than adsense.
But looking at few web marketing millianiores,we burn our hands and waste a lot of time.
I want your views on the same.

Sincere Request
Please donot hurt other's feelings or opinions.
Let us discuss this case in a sophisticated manner.

Regards,
VVBB

--Ideally,legit content owner shouldn't worry.Yeah, you are right about the time factor.

The amounts coming are not high either.
--It is not even an ant hill.

In Parallel if the programmer works to find someother job, he gets better pays than adsense.
--But, you have to be good for that. For adsense, you don't need to be that good.

But looking at few web marketing millianiores,we burn our hands and waste a lot of time.
--I guess you(just like me) saw yet another ad or ad about an ad, c'mon look at your page ctr/page eCPM and calculate the time that it would take for a 100 usd check, let alone million.

But, we got no other option(better paying), so I guess we have stick around with this.

I could never make much money on Adsense. In fact I have never been paid because I have not made enough. I did what you said and found another job where I can make more. Content editing for another website was more time profitable for me. I didn't have to worry about any adsense and just had to worry about unique content that can get page views. I still run a blog and deal with adsense, but I could never allow myself to get in so deep over advertisements. The ones who make it to millionare status are most likely the ones that found some kind of loop whole or a 100 dozen micro niche blogs that can generate not only generate impressions, but also clicks.

I'm hoping to apply to adsense in the future. People that complain about bad income, I'd like to know how many users you have on a daily basis. Just to see what I could expect.

You are on the correct side.
Number of visitors will play a key role. And there is a subtle amount of caution that is required to save the adsense account.
People attacking adsense ads are so many that virtually it requires a monitoring every other day and then enabling google to check on the same.
Its a tough business.

Adsense in my opinion, is just there to pay for hosting fees and all that stuff. I don't think that I'm going to end up trying to depend on it. Though if you end up making an extremely successful site(s), then it does add up. By extremely successful, I mean one with over a hundred users on at any given point. However, coming up with an idea and having one of those sites is extremely rare, so I'd rather not get my hopes up. I'd be lucky just to have a hundred members total :shifty:

Hm, quick question, does Adsense can also be used by Free members or only reserve for Prime members?

Adsense may be used by anyone. :) Free, prime, illuminated, everything.

Adsense generally relies very heavily on the amount of traffic your site gets. In addition, most people don't actually click on the ads (at least I know I don't). I almost never click on any ads and with Adsense, its typically pay per click. If no one clicks on them, then you have the ad up but don't make anything from it.

Also, ad blockers are very popular these days and Adsense is one of the very first things on most filter lists. With an ad blocker, the ads aren't even going to load so no impressions at all.

In general, it's very possible to make a good amount of income from Adsense, but it starts with having a popular website. Focus on creating a unique and engaging website first, and then work on optimizing ads.

I believe the problem with adsense is that everyone is used to seeing the ads and know that rarely is there anything actually of interest in the ads. We basically tune out the ads and it becomes dead space. I would suggest finding people and businesses that actually relate to your site and creat paid ad spaces directly for them. Creating your own ad spaces allows you to control what is advertised and how you receive payment whether it is cash or links and ad space on someone elses web pages.

I've been burned by google when they banned me from adsense, after i invested time and money. Of course i was not given a reason, i don't think i did anything wrong, but then again they don't need a reason to ban people, they're google. Shortly after that i started using adbrite, and you know what's amazing about adbrite, when you make a mistake, something is wrong with your site, they contact you and they tell you about the problem and simply disable ad serving to your site for the time until you fix the site. Of course this does not cover plain cheating and so on, but some simple human mistakes that might happen to us all they actually forgive and give second chances. Recently i cashed in my first check from adbrite, it felt good.. Besides adsense is a hypocrite, i saw adsense on a porn site, it's been active for quite some time, i even checked on digitalpoint people have even reported the site in question but ads are still there. Ever since then i started hating google, i don't use any of it's services, google is dead to me. And one more thing, if you are interested in making some money, i suggest you focus on article writing or website design... it's much better, it takes some time to learn design but the rewards are surely better...
Regards.
